A 3-0-0 urea-based liquid fertilizer enriched with Nickel, Cobalt, and Molybdenum — designed to amplify nitrogen use efficiency, support legume nodulation, and reduce nitrogen loss across soil types.

Nitrogen is the most expensive input on most operations — and a significant percentage of it never reaches the plant. Nitro Boost is built around the enzymes and trace elements that govern how nitrogen moves through the plant and how effectively the crop uses what you apply.
Three trace elements drive the chemistry here:

Nickel activates urease — the enzyme plants use to break down urea into usable forms internally. Without adequate nickel, urea metabolism inside the plant slows down, and nitrogen efficiency drops. Most soils don't supply enough nickel to fully support this process, especially in high-yield environments.

Cobalt is essential for nodule formation and nitrogen fixation in legumes like soybeans. It also reduces ethylene — the stress hormone that slows growth — which means co-applying Cobalt with your N solution helps crops stay in a growth mode even under the stress of rapid vegetative development.

Molybdenum converts nitrate nitrogen into amino acids inside the plant. In soils with naturally low Mo levels or high-pH conditions, this conversion slows and nitrogen efficiency suffers. Adding Mo directly with nitrogen applications keeps that conversion running efficiently.

Mixed directly into your nitrogen solution, Nitro Boost maximizes what the plant captures and uses from every unit of N you apply.

"Less nitrogen lost to volatilization and leaching. More nitrogen converted to plant-available amino acids. That's what Nitro Boost is built for."

When to Apply
• Mixed directly with liquid nitrogen (UAN, 28%, 32%)
• Y-drop or side dress applications
• Foliar spray during vegetative stages
• Fertigation

What It's For: Improving nitrogen use efficiency; supporting legume nodulation; reducing N losses; enhancing early growth and stress resistance.

Nutrient Profile: 3-0-0 urea nitrogen base; 2% Nickel, 2% Cobalt, 2% Molybdenum

Application Rate: 2–4 oz per acre based on crop type and growth stage

Crops: All crop types — especially high-value for corn, soybeans, and small grains
Compatibility: Mix directly with liquid N solution; compatible with Y-drop, foliar, and fertigation
Packaging: Liquid — each jug treats 80–160 acres

What makes Ascophyllum nodosum better than other seaweed species?

Cold-water kelp species like Ascophyllum nodosum have higher concentrations of cytokinins and other growth-regulating compounds than warm-water species — a result of adapting to nutrient-limited, cold ocean environments. The hormonal profile is naturally balanced for vegetative growth applications, which is why it's the species most supported by agronomic research in this category.

How is Grow Up different from Repro Kelp?

They target different growth stages and use different kelp species. Grow Up uses Ascophyllum nodosum, which has a hormonal profile suited for vegetative growth — root development, early stand establishment, and stress resilience from emergence to canopy. Repro Kelp uses Saccharina japonica, which carries hormones aligned with reproductive development — flowering, pod fill, and uniform maturity. Use Grow Up early, Repro Kelp at reproductive stages.

Can I apply Grow Up infurrow alongside my starter fertilizer?

Yes. Grow Up is well suited for infurrow applications and works well alongside starter fertilizers. The biological growth stimulants complement the nutritional boost from a starter program. Always do a jar test to confirm compatibility with your specific tank mix.

What's the dry form best used for?

The dry form offers easier storage and a longer shelf life, and it can be dissolved and applied as a liquid at planting or during the season. It's a practical option for operations that want the same biology but prefer dry product handling. Mix 12 oz of dry kelp in 2.5 gallons of water before application.
